Massage Therapy
Massage Treatments are always performed by a massage Therapist who is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Receipts can be provided for insurance purposes. Please Inquire when booking.
You do not need to select your massage type prior to your appointment. Discuss your needs with your therapist and they will help you choose the massage that is best for your situation.
Swedish Massage
A form of positive touch used for reducing stress and muscle tension. This treatment usually consists of massaging the back, legs, feet, arms, hands, head, neck & shoulders.
Therapeutic Massage
Designed to target sore and contracted muscles, this massage is directed towards the manipulation of soft tissue and joints in the body for therapeutic purposes and treatment of specific conditions. Excellent for releasing tightness and reducing muscle pain.
Aromatherapy Massage
This anti-stress / aromatherapy massage utilizes pure aromatic essential oils drawn from flowers, plants, and herbs to induce relaxation of the nervous system and beautification of the skin
Prenatal Massage
This safe and nurturing massage relieves stress and tension placed on a woman's body from the changes occurring during pregnancy.
Infant Massage
Massage can ease digestive discomforts (such as colic), sooth teething pain and decrease any anxiety they may have. Your massage therapist can also show parents easy techniques you can use at home for your infant that will encourage bonding.
Sports Massage
Pre-event / during-event/ post-event massages are available for individuals, which may decrease the chance of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). Massage is also great for the weekend warrior.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture performed by a massage therapist is limited to soft tissue therapy and is billed as part of your massage. We can treat such things as repetitive strain injuries, headaches of all sorts and a multitude of things that would be treated with massage.
